Reading and Writing

We read non-fiction books in order to identify
text features.
We asked and answered questions to gain

Read a non-fiction book with your child. Continue to fill
in your reading logs!

Look around your house for small objects you can use to
practice counting by 5’s and 10’s.

We discussed how plants change over time.
We continued to discuss the jobs of the
different parts of plants.

Look around your yard for different plants and see how
they have changed now that winter is coming.

Make a map of your house including the yard. Make sure
to include the natural and human-made features.
