Reading and Writing


We brainstormed things we are thankful for.
We identified how a character can change
throughout the story.
Math


We continued counting objects in different
arrangement.
We practiced skip counting.
Optional Enrichment Activities:
Read a story and discuss how the character felt in the
beginning, middle, and end of the story. Don’t forget to
color in the wizard hat for the reading incentive
program as you read! Remember parents need to sign
the papers.
Optional Enrichment Activities:
Look for objects that come in groups and count them.
Science/Health
Social Studies


We compared different types of seeds and
plants.
We learned the different parts of a plant and
why they are important.
Optional Enrichment Activities:
Explore the seeds within different types of fruit that
you eat as a family. What can this tell you about the
fruit’s life cycle?

We learned about a variety of landforms and
bodies of water.
We specially discussed mountains, hills, plains,
plateaus, and more! We also discussed valleys,
rivers, and oceans.
Optional Enrichment Activities:
Identify different landforms as you drive to different
destinations over the holiday break.
