How are self and identity processes influenced by the cultural context?
Critically evaluate any one chapter from Parts IV to VIII of the Handbook of Identity Theory
and Research (i.e. Chapters 19 to 39, inclusive). Which theoretical perspectives on identity
does the chapter draw on? What might the chapter have looked like if the author(s) had
considered alternative perspectives?
