
You will notice the scheduled dates for
the PARCC assessments for Grade 5
math and reading on the calendar below.
We ask that families support their
students for these required items in two
important ways. First, make sure your
child gets a good night’s sleep the night
before the scheduled testing. Second,
make sure your child arrives to school on
time the day of testing and ready for
the task at hand. We thank you in
advance for your support.

Other Corner:

As we approach the middle of the
fourth quarter there are still
opportunities to volunteer and
enjoy with your child the final
weeks at SKR. We will need parent
volunteers for Field Day, 5th Grade
Olympics and the 5th Grade
Promotion Ceremony. Contact
your child’s teacher if you are able
to help out. Please consider giving
some of your time for this super
group of students.
