Parent Conferences
A parent conference sheet will be sent
home with your child. Please send it
back to school with your child so we can
plan your conference. If you cannot
come because of work, I can arrange a
telephone conference with you. A reminder that November 11 and 12, 2009,
are scheduled conference days and there
will be NO PRE-K.
Important Updates
November is a cold month. Please dress
your child in jackets and hats for the ride
or walk to school.
DO NOT SEND A SICK CHILD TO
SCHOOL. IT IS NOT SAFE FOR THE
OTHER STUDENTS.
During the month of November, the children will have their hearing and vision
checked by our health technician. I will
send home a sheet with the letter “E”, in
both Spanish and English, to practice
with your child for the vision screening.
The units of study for the month in math
will be Big and Small, Short and Tall
and Colors All Around. For reading, the
units will be Letters of the Alphabet
and the Supermarket. The unit of study
in science will be Changes in Weather.
