First Grade News
Reading
April begins our fourth and final quarter
of instruction for 2009 - 2010. This
month, students will learn how to use
the text features from non-fiction texts
to gather information. Students will
read a variety of non-fiction texts (such
as newspapers, posters, menus, and
bar graphs) during the first weeks of
