Conference Theme
Schools — as gatekeepers for the
transmission of knowledge — must play a
role in teaching for peace and mutual
understanding at local, national, and global
levels. Presenters at this graduate student conference will
explore how educators, education systems, politicians,
community leaders, philanthropists, and students alike
promote active citizenship, social justice, tolerance, and
respect for human life within and among nations.
