Note: Progress Reports were sent home on Friday. Thank you for helping your
child at home and please keep doing this. With both of us working together,
between home and school, your child will continue to progress well in school.

other Reading/Language Arts
items we are learning
We are now working on Theme 5 Imagination. We are listening to stories
to help us be creative, visualize and express imagination. By learning
how to do this, your child will develop skills that spark an interest in
reading and it will help them be inquisitive about learning more.
Ahora estamos trabajando en el tema 5 imaginación. Estamos escuchando
historias para ayudarnos a ser creativos, visualizar y expresar imaginación.
Al aprender cómo hacer esto, tu niño desarrollará habilidades que
despertar un interés en la lectura y que les ayudará a ser curioso acerca de
aprender más.
Math News
We are continuing to work on patterns, sorting shapes by
color, size and shape and continuing to focus on making sets of
items 1-5 and matching them to their corresponding numeral.
Technology news
Nosotros seguimos trabajando en patrones, clasificar formas por color, tamaño y
forma y continúa centrándose en la fabricación de conjuntos de items 1-5 y
compatibilizarlos con su numeral correspondiente.
We are progressing with learning how to use the computer mouse and the
websites listed below. We are also beginning to use applications such as Pixie
and Kidspiration. Occassionally, we will use online subscription database
resources like Pebble Go and Brain Pop Jr. to learn more about a certain class
topic. You can continue to use the websites below at home.
Estamos avanzando con aprender a usar el ratón de la computadora y los sitios
web enumerados a continuación. También estamos empezando a utilizar
aplicaciones como Pixie y Kidspiration. A veces, usamos recursos de base de datos

Our Pre K Library
Please continue reading at home and exchanging books with our
Pre K library. Please help your child be responsible and return their
Ziploc baggies so they can carry their books home.
We now have more books added to our collection. They were
donated by Mrs. Lopez’s (our ESOL teacher) daughter and her school’s
robotics team. They held a community book drive project. Thank you for
our added collection. 
