Greetings from Mrs. Dennis, Miss John, Mrs. Reynolds & Mrs. Ward
Parent Reminders Please be sure to check your
child’s planner each night.
 Students should be reading
20 minutes or more each
night and coloring a paw on
their monthly reading
calendars.
 Students should also be
recording the books they are
reading on their Reading Log
(at least 6 books per marking
period).
In Math class we have been working on
composing and decomposing numbers to
solve addition and subtraction problems. We
will apply these skills to solve word problems
that have 2-steps. Be sure to check the math
section of your child’s binder for resources to
support what we are doing in class.
In Social Studies and Science we are
focusing on collaboration and analysis as
we explore ways to solve community
problems and how gravity affects force and
motion. Students will experiment with balls
& ramps to learn more about these topics.
Parent/Teacher
conferences are coming
up. They will be held on
November 11th and 12th.
Please be on the lookout
for an email from Sign-Up
Genius to reserve your
time.
