Technology & Project Approach *Students will have opportunities to use laptops in the classroom *Promethean boards are integrated across curriculum areas *Social Studies and Science units integrated through the Project Approach Choice Stations *Areas within the classroom where children work alone or interact with one another, using a variety of materials to explore and investigate Report Cards Parent Conferences in November Report Cards given in January and June Homework *Goal of homework is to establish routines *Reading Logs will begin in October (not mandatory) *Required homework will begin in January (brief ~~ about 10 minutes) Outdoor Exploration *Enhance curriculum *Further social interactions *Check weather and dress appropriately Visiting the Classroom This Evening *Read through the packet given to you *Sign-in including email address *Check your child’s Emergency Info. and return to the teacher *Check-out classroom wish list *Look around the classroom
