TEAMWORK – Alone we
can do so little, but
together we can do so
much!
I Can
Reading: We will read literary text,
poetry, and narrative stories, to
identify words and phrases that appeal
to the senses. We will also work on
identifying who is telling the story at
various points in the text.
Writing: We will be studying, reading,
and writing poetry. We will work on
adding describing words (adjectives)
and sensory words to our poems.
Math: We will be focusing on addition
and subtraction within 100. We will be
using drawings and manipulatives to
help us add within 100.
Science: We will continue with our unit
on Earth and Space Science. This
includes the study of human actions
that harm the environment. We will
recognize that caring about our
environment is important.
Social Studies: We will start our unit
in Economics. This includes the study of
natural and human resources used to
produce goods. We will also discuss
goods and services.
