Subject Snapshot
During MP2, students will focus on the skills of
Synthesis and Metacognition.
Math – Students will be working dividing multi digit whole
numbers by using various strategies using rectangular
arrays, area models and place value strategies.
Writing – Students will begin November by reviewing
writing skills and using those skills to write a narrative.
Reading –Students will be reading myths, legends and
mysteries in November. While we read we will be reviewing
Point of view, comparing two or more characters, and
relating point of view to themes.
Science – Students will be working with circuits to learn
about the flow of electrical energy.
Social Studies – Students will analyze how conflict and
compromise played a role during the Creation of our
national government.

November 2nd - No School for Students (professional day for teachers)
November 11th- Early release day for students (Parent Teacher Conferences)
November 12th- Early release day for students (Parent Teacher Conferences)
Report Cards Distributed
November 25th- Early Release Day
November 26-27th- No School (Thanksgiving Holiday).
