Dear 3rd Grade Parents,
We are so excited to spend this year with your students!  We
will be sending out a monthly newsletter that includes information
about what your students will be learning each month as well as
important dates and reminders. Be sure to look for two important
documents that will be coming home with your students this week:
The Rights and Responsibilities and Code of Conduct. Please take
a few minutes to review these with your child. Please also be sure
to send in the Emergency Contact and FARM forms as soon as
possible. We appreciate your help with all of this paperwork.

inferences and how to ask and answer questions.
Writing: Students will be working on a narrative
writing piece about the common good.
Math: Students will work to identify addition
patterns, explore odd and even numbers, practice
rounding and build addition and subtraction fluency
through the thousands place.
Science: Students will focus on force, motion and
gravity.
Social Studies: Students will explore the concept of
the common good.
