REMINDERS
Parent Conferences: November 11th and 12th. Students have an
Early Release Day. Dismissal is at 12:55 p.m.


Please make sure your child has a warm coat for outdoor recess
every day.
Please make sure your child reads nightly for at least 20 minutes
and returns their guided reading book to school the next day.

Curriculum Highlights This Month!
Math: Students will be solving addition and subtraction word problems
as well as reviewing place value. Students will recognize the meaning of
the equal sign.
Reading: Students will identify the main topic and supporting key details
in both fictional and informational texts.
Writing: Young authors will write to inform about how they live, work
and play. We will use capital letters and punctuation properly.
Social Studies: Students will explore the traditions and customs of
families. We will compare the past to the present.
Science: Scientists will investigate physics as we see how non-living things
move.
