 Rehearse by explaining your position and listing your reasons point
by point.
 Plan your claim and reasons into boxes-and-bullets structure.
 Use evidence to support your reasons by paraphrasing, quoting,
and by showing how the information relates to the reason.
 Use transitional phrases to analyzes and explain the reasons.
 Include a strong introduction and conclusion.
 Anticipate critic’s counterarguments, and acknowledge these in
your rebuttal paragraph!
