O Overview of o options for closed captiioning W When using vvideos from DE Streamin ng, you have e the option of playing th he video direectly from th he web (SSTREAMING VIDEO) or d downloadingg the video and playing itt from a savved location (DOWNLOA ADED VIDEO) AMING VIDEEO: From the e File menu in Windowss Media Playyer, choose PlayLyricsOn if STREA availa able DOWN NLOADED V VIDEO: You n need to dow wnload both the video and the Closeed Captionin ng file into th he same fold der in orderr to see the ccaptions in yyour downlo oaded video o. Also, from m the Tools menu in Wiindows Med dia Player, choose Optio ons, and theen click on th he Security ttab. Checkk the boxes n next to Run script comm mands when n present an nd Show locaal captions w when present NOTEE: Teachers a and studentss do not havve access to the Securityy tab in Wind dows Media a Playerr. Checkk that you ha ave closed ccaptioning tu urned on if so, the CC icon unde r the video aarea will be “pressed” 3. Click tthe Downloa ad button. M Make sure W Windows Meedia is selected. This w way, you will have the op pportunity to o change thee settings in Media player. 4. Click tthe Downloa ad button and then click the Play V Video icon to o play video.
