Prepare for College and Beyond
As a freshman, you probably have many questions such as:
What classes should I take?
How do I choose a major?
How will I make friends with other students and form study
groups?
 Who will help me learn about resources for students at the
U?
 How will I balance school, work, and campus involvement?



Being a part of LEAP will help you answer your questions in a
stimulating and challenging environment.

Why should I join LEAP?
As a freshman student, you’ll enroll in a small class with
the same students and the same professor for two
semesters.
LEAP courses can count as Honors courses.
LEAP opens up other opportunities.
LEAP faculty are recognized for their teaching excellence.
