Precise BioMatch™ J 2.0 is a Java software module that performs fingerprint matching
on any Java smart card (Match-on-Card). The software module, completely written in
Java, is designed to meet the time demands of fingerprint verification on the smart card
chip.
Precise BioMatch™ J 2.0 is implemented according to the Java Card Forum (JCF)
Biometry API, which ensures interoperability among different cards and Java applets.
Precise BioMatch™ J 2.0 is compatible with all Precise BioMatch™ enabled readers,
terminals and applications.
Precise BioMatch™ J 2.0, enabling Precise Match-on-Card™, is the link between
biometrics and PKI, without any use of fingerprint databases or additional infrastructure.
As the fingerprint is matched in the smart card, no secrets have to leave the smart card,
which gives highest security.
