A Brief History of Neutrino Physics
Abstract:
Despitedecadesofresearch,neutrinosarestilloneoftheleastunderstoodfundamental
particles.Despiteaworld‐wideexperimentaleffortthathasstartedtorevealtheneutri‐
no'ssecrets,thereismuchmoretobelearned.Forexample,itishopedthatadetailed
studyofneutrinopropertieswillhelpusunderstandtheobservedasymmetrybetween
matterandantimatterintheuniverse.Iwillreviewwhatiscurrentlyknownaboutneu‐
trinosaswellasnearandlongertermexperimentalefforts.
