Any of the above members may be invited as per the requirement. 12. 13. 31.st Senate, 02nd December 2014 Item No. 31-4.3 Clause 10 (Grading System) In case a student registers for a “D Grade course” for improvement, in a Semester/ Supplementary examination and scores “F Grade” instead of up-gradation in his/her grade. The new (revised grade) attained by the student shall be incorporated in the revised Grade sheet for computation of his/her CGPA, irrespective it is “Grade F or any other grade permitted for such cases” (applicable to students enrolled as per new scheme form semester beginning July 2015. Item No. 31-4.3 Clause 13.2 (Maximum and Minimum Duration) Clarification to the Clause, the minimum duration of the program implies the duration of coursework/study and when a student is awarded semester withdrawal or is rusticated for a semester, the duration of course work/study is accordingly reduced. The 3 minimum duration shall not include the period of withdrawal/rustication. The DUGC & APEC should consider the performance/existing SGPA/CGPA of the student and advise the student for registering in specific number of the ‘D Grades’ courses (if offered) provided he is within the limit of 4.5-5 CGPA otherwise he will have to repeat the semester and minimum duration of the programme shall be increased by one semester. 14. Item No. 31-4.3 Addition in the clause, Clause 5.7 (Refund of Fees) “Fee refund policy in respect of the semester withdrawal cases”. “No fee shall be refunded in case a student is rusticated/suspended for a semester or his semester exams are cancelled on account of unfair means”. “In semester withdrawal cases and in cases where students are debarred from a particular semester, the students are required to pay all Institute fees (as applicable to continue on rolls) excluding the tuition fee. 115. 16. 31st Senate, 02nd December 2014 Item No. 31-4.3 Item No. 31-4.4 Fee refund policy in respect of new entrants on withdrawal after admission in MNIT Jaipur. (iii) The concerned DUGC of the department shall evaluate the Internship undertaken by the student based on the following sub-clauses of clause 12. (a) In case of Academic Institutions; the provisions of clause 12(e) of UG Regulations shall be applicable if the student does course work. (b) If the student does project/internship than clause 12 (f) of the UG Regulation shall be applicable. (c) In case of R&D Organizations/ Industries; clause 12(f) of the UG Regulation shall be applicable. 5 18. 32nd Senate 28th March 2015 Item No. 32-3.8 Addition of the Clause in UG Regulation i) The institute caution money shall be refunded to the Under graduate student only on his/her successful completion of the enrolled program. ii) Only those students who complete the programme shall be eligible to get “Character Certificate” and “Migration Certificate” from the institute on demand. 19. 32nd Senate 28th March 2015 Item No. 32-4.10 Modified policy for promotion to next semester in B.
