Title: Custodial Crew Student Leader
Pay Level: Level 3 (contact Student Employment for current wage)
Department: Physical Plant
Responsible to: Building Services Supervisor
Purpose of the position: This position exists to provide full time Building Service staff with extra
supervision of labor to ensure the cleanliness of facilities.
Primary Responsibilities




Supervise other student workers.
Work weekends and off hours to clean up after special events and secure the building(s).
Fill in for supervisor during his/her absence.
Assist in project work.
Necessary Skills, Abilities, & Qualifications




Ability to perform all of the duties of a line or floater position
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Ability to supervise others.
Previous experience, at least 600 hours, on respective crew or an equivalent.
Additional Comments

Workers in this classification will be assuming the responsibilities of the supervisor in his/her
absence. This may be a critical responsibility during special events or emergency situations.
This person will be required to make decisions when working unsupervised.
