Contact OCCE and reserve the area for as long as possible. Make sure there is enough time to complete the project. Have Energy Management adjust the HVAC units. Ensure all materials are on hand and ready to use. Procedure 1) Place wet floor/caution signs, put on PPE and place a towel or walk off mat outside the area that is to be cleaned. 2) Sand with a 120 grit screen. Do not move too quickly or the floor will still have shiny spots. Use cut up pieces of screen to clean corners. Replace screens if they become dirty or clogged. 3) Keep an eye on your vacuum to ensure it doesn’t get too full. You can also use the floor scrubber or boost, but make sure you tack around the edges and corners. 5) Make sure floor is dry and dust free. 6) Apply floor finish. Cleanup Wipe down, rinse and dry all equipment. Return to proper storage areas. Safety & PPE Recommendations PPE recommended includes hand and eye protection.
