Vacuum or sweep the area. This will remove all loose debris and soil.
Fill a mop bucket with water and all-purpose cleaner.
Place “wet floor” signs in the area that you are about to mop.
When mopping the area, work from the back to the front as this avoids spreading soil onto
the cleaned area.
5) Once a mop pad starts to dry out or get dirty, it must be replaced by a fresh one. The dirty
one should be rinsed thoroughly, wrung out, and then placed in the clear trash bag.
6) Make sure to mop the baseboards as well as the floor surface.
7) All dirty mop heads should be collected and placed in the clear trash bag.
Cleanup
Mop heads should be laundered (Never use fabric softener as this will ruin the microfiber).
After the area has dried, remove the “wet floor” signs and return them to the storage closet.
Performance Standards
All floors should be free from debris and soil.
