Service Level Agreements
1) Auditorium
Auditoriums will have furniture straightened, contact points wiped, floors vacuumed or dry
mopped, trash and recycling emptied on a daily basis. Spot cleaning will be performed as
needed. Detail cleaning will be performed as time allows. Carpet extraction and floor finishing
will be performed as time allows. Relamping will occur according to fixture manufacturer’s
recommendation. Setups and tear downs for events will be performed as specified on the
OCCE calendar. Cleaning between events will take place as the reservation schedule permits.
2) Cafeteria, Coffee Shops, Food Venues and Vending Areas
The Commons, Knollcrest Dining Hall and the Prince Conference Center are the responsibility
of Creative Dining Services.
Coffee shops, food venues and vending areas will have furniture straightened, contact points
wiped, floors vacuumed or dry mopped, trash and recycling emptied on a daily basis. Spot
cleaning will be performed as needed. Detail cleaning will be performed as time allows. Carpet
extraction and floor finishing will be performed as time allows. Relamping will occur according
to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation. Setups and tear downs for events will be
performed as specified in the OCCE calendar. Cleaning between events will take place as the

3) Classrooms, Seminar and Conference Rooms
Classrooms, seminar and conference rooms will have furniture straightened, contact points
wiped, boards wiped, floors vacuumed or dry mopped, trash and recycling emptied on a daily
basis. Spot cleaning will be performed as needed. Detail cleaning will be performed as time
allows. Carpet extraction and floor finishing will be performed as time allows. Relamping will
occur according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation. Setups and tear downs for events
will be performed as specified in the OCCE calendar. Cleaning between events will take place
as the reservation schedule permits.
4) Entrances
Entrances will have trash and recycling emptied, contact points wiped, horizontal
surfaces dusted and floors vacuumed or dry mopped daily. Spot cleaning will be performed
as needed. Detail cleaning will be performed as time allows. Carpet extraction and floor
finishing will be performed as time allows. Relamping will occur according to fixture
manufacturer’s recommendation.

5) Fitness Centers
Fitness Centers will have the trash and recycling emptied, building touch points wiped, the
floors cleaned and the carpets vacuumed daily. Spot cleaning will be performed as needed.
The floors will be scrubbed on a weekly basis and project cleaned on an annual basis with the
equipment being moved at that time. The carpet will be extracted as time allows. Disinfectant
and microfiber cloths will be provided for the users to wipe down the equipment before each
use. Relamping will occur according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation.
6) Gymnasiums (wood floors and athletic floors)
Gymnasiums with wood floors and areas with athletic floors will be vacuumed or dry mopped,
trash and recycling emptied, glass spot cleaned and contact points wiped on a daily basis.
Spot cleaning will be performed as needed. Scrubbing floors will be performed as time allows.
Relamping will occur according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation. Detail cleaning,
high dusting, carpet extraction or floor finishing will be performed as time allows. Setups and
tear downs for events will be performed as specified on the OCCE calendar. Cleaning
between events will take place as the reservation schedule permits.
7) Health Services (Patient Examination Rooms) and Training Rooms
Health Services and training rooms will be hygienically cleaned on a daily basis which includes
tables, chairs, sinks and drinking fountains, trash and recycling emptied, paper supplies
restocked, carpets vacuumed, floors mopped and contact points wiped. Spot cleaning will be
performed as needed. Detail cleaning, high dusting, carpet extraction or floor finishing will be
performed as time allows, or as needed based on usage and health issues. Relamping will
occur according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation.
8) Library
The library will have furniture straightened, contact points wiped, floors vacuumed or dry
mopped, trash and recycling emptied on a daily basis. Spot cleaning will be performed as
needed. Detail cleaning (including wiping tables, desks and chairs), high dusting, carpet
extraction or floor finishing will be performed as time allows. Relamping will occur according to
fixture manufacturer’s recommendation. Setups and teardowns for events will be performed as
specified on the OCCE calendar. Cleaning between events will take place as the reservation
schedule permits.
9) Limited Access Areas – President’s Office, Provost Office, Human Resources, Payroll, Art
Gallery and Dice Museum

Limited access areas will be cleaned during normal business hours when area staff is present
to unlock and lock the area.
10) Locker/Changing Rooms
Locker/Changing rooms will be hygienically cleaned on a daily basis which includes showers,
urinals, toilets, sinks and drinking fountains, trash and recycling emptied, paper supplies
restocked, partitions cleaned, carpets vacuumed, floors mopped and lockers, benches and
contact points wiped. Spot cleaning will be performed as needed. Detail cleaning, high dusting
and carpet extraction will be performed as time allows or due to usage and health issues.
Relamping will occur according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation.
11) Lounges and Break Rooms
Lounges and break rooms will have furniture straightened, contact points wiped, floors
vacuumed or dry mopped, trash and recycling emptied on a daily basis. Spot cleaning will be
performed as needed. Detail cleaning, carpet extraction or floor finishing will be performed as
time allows. Relamping will occur according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation.
Cleaning counters, sinks and appliances is the responsibility of the users.
12) Offices
Department offices will have furniture straightened, contact points wiped, floors vacuumed or
dry mopped, horizontal surfaces dusted, trash and recycling emptied on a daily basis. Spot
cleaning will be performed as needed. Detail cleaning, high dusting, glass cleaning, carpet
extraction or floor finishing will be performed as time allows. Relamping will occur according to
fixture manufacturer’s schedule.
Private offices will be cleaned and vacuumed by appointment only. Building Services staff is
not allowed to handle private property, all private property must be removed from the area
before it will be cleaned. Trash and recycling containers that are left outside the door will be
emptied on a daily basis.
13) Outdoor Events
Outdoor events will be supplied with tables, chairs and trash cans. The setup and tear down
for the event is the responsibility of the user.
14) Public Areas
Public areas will have furniture straightened, horizontal surfaces dusted, contact points wiped,
drinking fountains cleaned, floors vacuumed or dry mopped, trash and recycling emptied on a
daily basis. Spot cleaning will be performed as needed. Detail cleaning including high dusting,

15) Restrooms
Restrooms will be hygienically cleaned on a daily basis which includes urinals, toilets and
sinks, trash and recycling emptied, paper supplies restocked, partitions cleaned, floors
mopped and contact points wiped. Spot cleaning will be performed as needed. Detail cleaning,
high dusting, carpet extraction will be performed as time allows or as needed based on usage
and health issues. Relamping will occur according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation.
16) Stairwells
Stairwells will have stairs dry mopped, touch points (including handrails) wiped and trash and
recycling emptied on a daily basis. Spot cleaning and wet mopping will be performed as
needed. Detail cleaning, high dusting and carpet extraction will be performed as time allows.
Relamping will occur according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation.
17) Storerooms
Storerooms will be kept clean and organized. Spot cleaning will be performed as needed.
Detail cleaning, high dusting, floors mopped and carpet extraction will be performed as time
allows. Relamping will occur according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation.
18) Swimming Pool and Deck
The swimming pool deck will be hygienically cleaned on a daily basis which includes deck,
bulkhead, hand rails, diving boards, steps, platforms and drinking fountains, trash and
recycling emptied ,benches and contact points wiped and stainless steel dried and treated.
Spot cleaning will be performed as needed. Detail cleaning will be performed as time allows or
as needed based on usage and health issues.
19) Utility Rooms ( including custodial closets and mechanical rooms)
Utility rooms will be kept clean, organized and all chemicals (including secondary containers)
properly labeled. Spot cleaning will be performed as needed. Detail cleaning, high dusting,
floors mopped and carpet extraction will be performed as time allows. Relamping will occur
according to fixture manufacturer’s recommendation.
