Replace Benefits with
Different Food Package
CRITERIA:
Child
Certification Due Date > End of the month
LDTU of last set of benefits > current date
Food Prescription – Use default food package w hich includes peanut butter
Issue benefits – Print benefits
Oops! Parent now decides they w ould like canned beans instead of peanut butter
Void Benefits
Replace Benefits – Change food package. Replace peanut butter w ith canned beans.
How to replace benefits with different food package:
o
Open Participant Folder
o Create Default Food Package (if needed)
o I ssue benefits
o Void Benefits







From Menu, click Benefit Management
Select Void Benefits.
I dentify Benefits to Void w indow opens
From Select Benefits to Void, select benefits by check number.
Confirm Benefits to Void w indow opens, reason for v oiding – Select Food
Prescription Change.
Do not check Reprint Benefits box!
Click OK.
o Food Prescription






Click the Add button.
Click Use Default button.
Highlight peanut butter and click the Delete button.
Add Food I tem
Select Legume Food Category – Add Canned Beans
Click OK.
o Replace Benefits





From menu, click Benefit Management
Select Add/Replace Set of Benefits.
Add/Replace Set of Benefits w indow opens.
Select the months of benefits you w ould like to replace from the Currently
Outstanding Set of Benefits.
I ndicate reason for replacement in Note field.
