HuBERT Structured Exercises Add Over-Income Contact in CGS CRITERIA: Household w ith multiple participants (more than one) Search by a letter (such as Last Name “A”) Click the Household column header to sort by household Click the Show Details button to show Cert End Date and LDTU At least one member in current cert (cert end date > current date) Same member eligible for benefit issuance (LDTU in current month) One other member due for cert (cert end date < current cert) Begin cert for member due for cert. The household size is the same as before. Enter income too high for current household size. I ssue benefits to member and other members in household before system terminates. Print an I neligibility Letter. Verify termination reason and date in Participant Search/List and Participant Folder for all household participants. How to add income record in CGS that makes household ineligible and issue benefits before terminated: o Open CGS for member in household due for cert o Click on Demographics link o Click on Income Calculator icon o Look at the most recent income record and determine the current household size o Add income record that makes household over income based on household size Click Add Item button Enter high monthly income based on household size Select any Proof of Income Click OK button o Enter household number into the Household Size field o Click OK button o The Income Calculator message indicating “The participant will not be income eligible based on the current income information…” message opens o Click No on this message o Click Cancel button on Income Calculator screen o Click Cancel button on Demographics screen o Click Close Certification button o Click Participant Activities menu o Select Remove Incomplete Certification o Click Yes on the message indicating “The current certification attempt will be removed for the participant…” o The folder will unlock o Click the Clinic button on the taskbar (view Show Details) and determine how many months of benefits the household members are eligible for Cert End Date < 90 days from today – provide the rest of their sets of benefits Cert End Date > 90 days from today – provide ½ package o Click the Issue Benefits icon and adjust the checkboxes next to each household member depending on when their individual certification ends If > 90 days left in cert: • Remove checkmarks next to the 2nd and 3rd sets of benefits • Click on first set of benefits suggested in grid • Click on Edit First Set button • Click ½ radio button in Package Size section • Select CPA Discretion (See Notes) from Reason for Editing drop-down • Click OK button If < 90 days left in cert, issue benefits that are suggested o Print using the Issue Benefits to selected members button o Open the CGS for the same household participant again o Click on Demographics link o Click on Income Calculator icon o Add income record that makes household over income based on household size o Enter household number into the Household Size field o Click OK button on Income Calculator o This time, click Yes on the Income Calculator message indicating “The participant will not be income eligible based on the current income information…” o Complete the required fields in Demographics o Click the OK button on the Demographics screen o The Create Ineligibility Notice checkbox is auto-selected; print the notice o Click the OK button on the “Mark Applicant as Ineligible” message o Click the Capture Electronic Signature button o Using the stylus, select Next on the signature pad o Sign your name and select the OK button on the signature pad o Click the Save Signature button o Verify Termination Reason and Term Date in Demographics AdditionalInfo2 tab. If not showing, folder needs to be refreshed. Close Participant Folder. Re-open Participant Folder. Click on Demographics AdditionaInfo2 Tab o If Term Reason and Term Date not showing in the Participant List Show Details section, the list needs to be refreshed.
