HuBERT Structured Exercises Add Over-Income Contact in PF CRITERIA: Household w ith multiple participants (more than one) Search by a letter (such as Last Name “A”) Click the Household column header to sort by household Click the Show Details button to show Cert End Date and LDTU Multiple members in current cert (cert end date > current date) Multiple members eligible for benefit issuance (LDTU in current month) Participant did not hav e proof income at last certification. Participant returns today and has proof of income. Proof of income makes the household ov er-income. The household size is the same as before. Add high income record. I ssue benefits to household before terminated. Verify termination reason and date in Participant Search/List and Participant Folder for all household participants. How to add income record in Participant Folder that makes household ineligible and issue benefits before terminated: o Open participant folder for one household member o Click on Income History tab o Look at the most recent income record and determine the current household size o Add income record that makes household over income based on household size Click Add Income Screening Contact button Click Add Item button Enter high monthly income based on household size Select any Proof of Income Click OK button o Enter household number into the Household Size field o Click OK button o The Income Calculator message indicating “The participant will not be income eligible based on the current income information…” message opens o Click No on this message o Click Cancel button o Click the Clinic button on the taskbar (view Show Details) and determine how many months of benefits the household members are eligible for Cert End Date < 90 days from today – provide the rest of their sets of benefits Cert End Date > 90 days from today – provide ½ package o Click the Issue Benefits icon and adjust the checkboxes next to each household member depending on when their individual certification ends If > 90 days left in cert: • • • • • • Remove checkmarks next to the 2nd and 3rd sets of benefits Click on first set of benefits suggested in grid Click on Edit First Set button Click ½ radio button in Package Size section Select CPA Discretion (See Notes) from Reason for Editing drop-down Click OK button If < 90 days left in cert, issue benefits that are suggested o Print using the Issue Benefits to selected members button o Re-open Income History tab o Re-enter high income record o This time, click Yes on the Income Calculator message indicating “The participant will not be income eligible based on the current income information…” o Need to refresh the information in the folder o Close the Participant Folder o Need to refresh the information displayed in the Participant List screen o Click Household ID radio button o Enter household ID displayed below in the Participant List o Click the Search button (this will refresh the information displayed in Show Details) o Click the Show Details button and verify the Term Reason and Date are displayed o Re-open the Participant Folder – verify Term Reason and Date are displayed in Demographics AdditionalInfo2 tab
