ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES
Registrar
1. Confirm that the new student resides within the school boundaries for B-CC by using the School Assignment Tool:

If residence is outside of the B-CC community, a Change of School Assignment must be filed with MCPS Residency
Office:

2. Obtain a new student packet from the Counseling Office, Main Office, or online at the following address:

3. Complete and compile the following forms and documents:
___ Completed New Student Packet
___ Parent/Guardian Government-Issued Photo Identification
- Driver’s License or Passport preferred
___ *Proof of Residency in the B-CC Area
- Utility Bill and
- One of the following:
o Current Property Tax Bill
o Settlement Sheet
o Current Lease
___ **Student Birth Certificate
___ Student Clearance/Withdrawal from Previous School
___ Student’s Unofficial Transcript from Previous School
- Must Include ALL High School Level Courses (Grades 6-12)
___ Updated Immunization Record
- Must Fulfill Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene “Back to School” Requirements
*If the student resides outside of the B-CC community, proof of COSA must be presented upon enrollment.
**If the student does not have a birth record, please bring the student’s official passport.
4. After the above documents and forms have been gathered. Schedule an appointment with the Registrar to enroll

5. Please arrive to your scheduled appointment with the above documents and forms completed. The child and
parent/guardian must both be present for the appointment.
International Students that have attended a school outside of the United States and/or a school that is not accredited by an
American Association will be required to go to the MCPS International Student Admissions Office. They will require you to make
an appointment and bring in original documents similar to those listed above.
