What do we need to know?
Last year, you started by thinking about a topic of interest.
Now is the time to ask yourself:
●
●
●
Am I still interested in that topic?
If not, what AM I interested in?
If so, what changes might I need to make to my idea in
order for it to be feasible?
This is essentially what you will do today in writing your
proposal.
Remember the ABCDs
All projects need to be:
•
•
•
•
Assessable - you can measure your own success
Believable - you can achieve this in the next five months
Challenging - it’s worth your time and effort
Desirable - it’s something you want to do
Please look at the handout on your desks. This outlines the
content of your proposal.

Look carefully at the descriptions of
the Global Contexts. What sounds
like your project?
Think in broad terms, research can
include interviews, surveys, books,
videos or other more traditional
sources of information like databases.
Now it’s your turn!
●
Proposals are turned in on a page on
the school website.

You can enter your

Let’s get started!
