Know a WIC mom who is expecting a baby in the next few weeks or has recently had a new
baby? Hager Sharp is a social marketing firm under contract with USDA to update the
WIC Loving Support Makes Breastfeeding Work campaign.
They are recruiting WIC participants who are expecting a baby in the next few weeks OR have
recently had a new baby. Participants in the study will download an app to their smartphones
to respond to questions twice/week for up to 6 weeks to share their experiences in caring for a
new baby. Participants will receive up to $300 as a token of appreciation.
The research group needs help recruiting Moms. They have enrolled about 15 of the 40 women
needed. They need to get enough Moms within the next few weeks.
They have developed posters/flyers -- Moms Needed Poster – that you can print off to display
in your clinic or provide to participants. Or you can order posters by contacting Roshni Devchan
at 202-706-7457 or [email protected]. Posters are available in two sizes: 8.5"x11"
and 11"x17".
