Provide direction aimed at growing and evaluating a professional development
training and coaching division consisting of 100+ veteran teachers, principals, and
youth development and education experts that provide more than 1,200 coaching and
training sessions per year to over 250 schools and 100 community based agencies and
more than 10,000 educators, parents, and youth-service workers. Ramapo supports
adults who work with children across a variety of contexts: Exercise positive leadership
and role model effectively; Build healthy relationships; Structure environments and
establish routines that promote positive behaviors; Coach social and emotional skill
development with the same precision as academics; and Actively intervene with
practical techniques for de-escalating disturbing or aggressive behavior.
