ToK
ToK is a course unlike any other you’ve ever taken! ToK teachers and students engage in exciting
dialogue on a daily basis. There will be many more questions than answers! ToK is very special!
You will:
• reflect critically on diverse ways of knowing and on areas of knowledge,
• consider the role and nature of knowledge in your own culture(s), in that of others and in the wider
world,
• be aware of yourself as a thinker, becoming more acquainted with the complexity of knowledge,
• and recognize the need to act responsibly in an increasingly interconnected but uncertain world.
