Here a few things you to do this summer to prepare for AP Computer Programming 2.
Part 1 - Join the Google Classroom with your school email – the code is ont72g. (Note that Google Drive and Classroom
will be unavailable to students/passwords reset from August 21st – August 29th – assignments should be posted prior to
the 21st or as soon as students return to school.)
Part 2 - As a programming student many times you will need to rely on outside sources to help explain different concepts
to you. This is a natural part of learning a new programming language and the beauty of programming that you can very
easily “Google things” or find online tutorials to help supplement your knowledge or learning. You will need to complete
3 assignments, each one has you watch 2 or 3 video tutorials. In the tutorials you may see more information than you
need to know, so focus on the questions you need to answer. Each topic will be covered in the first few weeks of class,
but this will help you get acquainted with Java and programming.
The assignments are listed below and each one is also listed on Google Classroom, you should complete on Google
Classroom if possible, if not, the links are below for your access as well.
