MCPS’S CyberSafety hotline and e-mail allow students, staff and community members to report
incidents or get information.

* When sending an email, please list as many details as possible. Some important details to
include:

A detailed message describing the incident
Reason for reporting incident
Name and address of website (e.g. www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org

Date, time and place website accessed
Names of individuals involved
Forward a copy of email(s) and other important documentation
