Breastfeeding Display – Fun promotion idea from Southwest WIC
Local Agencies in the
WIC staff in Murray County (part of Southwest Health and Human Services) created a
Breastfeeding display for the lobby. Using the concept from the poster “Breastmilk has
more of the good things your baby needs”, staff created their own 3-D display. Used
glove and Kleenex boxes were wrapped in paper and attached to a board to represent
and compare the components of breastmilk versus formula. The display is very
simple and free to create! See next page for a photo of the display.
To order a copy of the poster, go to WIC Materials Order Form for Local Agencies on
the MDH WIC website. Under posters, select MN WIC Block Poster. The poster is
available in two sizes.

Thanks to Murray County of SWHHS WIC Program for sharing their fun
breastfeeding display idea!
