Counseling Department
Counselors completed a classroom guidance lesson
with 11th grade students in the Modern World
classes. The lesson covered Naviance registration,
an overview of Naviance and registration for the April
9th Junior College Fair. Students in AP World classes received the information
regarding the Junior College Fair, but will not be receiving the full Naviance
classroom guidance lesson until after the AP test has been completed.
The Counseling Department hosted the Junior Parent night on
April 1st. The presentation included an overview of the college
application process, steps for college readiness, and covered all
of the information shared in the summer senior meetings. This
presentation will be available on the Springbrook High School
website, or see attachment.
Senior surveys were completed in all English classes on Friday,
April 4th. The surveys included information regarding college acceptances and
scholarship offerings.
We will be sending out a copy of each student’s course requests
later this month. Parents and students will have 10 days to make
any changes to their course requests. After that time, no
additional changes will be made.
