Who should take CCRD 1? Students’ who plan on taking an abbreviated schedule in their senior year must take CCRD 1 their sophomore or junior year and then enroll in CCS (College Career Seminar) and SBWE (SiteBased Work Experience) their senior year. Why is CCRD a great program for me? If you are in grades 10 or 11: What is CCRD? College/Career Research & Development is a Career Pathway Program that will meet the CTE graduation requirement if taken in the sequence of CCRD 1, CCS (College Career Seminar and SBWE (Site Based Work Experience). Any interested student may take CCRD 1 as an elective in their 10 or 11th grade year and CCS/SBWE their senior year. SBWE allows students to earn credits and get valuable work experience while taking an abbreviated schedule.
