Who should take CCRD 1?
Students’ who plan on taking an
abbreviated schedule in their
senior year must take CCRD 1
their sophomore or junior year
and then enroll in CCS (College
Career Seminar) and SBWE (SiteBased Work Experience) their
senior year. You will not be able
to take a half day work schedule
without being in this program.
This program is also a program
completer.

If you are in grades 10 or 11:
What is CCRD?
College/Career Research &
Development is a Career
Pathway Program that will meet
the
CTE
graduation
requirement if taken in the
sequence of CCRD 1, CCS
(College Career Seminar and
SBWE (Site Based Work
Experience).
Any interested
student may take CCRD 1 as an
elective in their 10 or 11th
grade year and CCS/SBWE
their senior year. SBWE allows
students to earn credits and
get valuable work experience
while taking an abbreviated
schedule.
 Enroll in CCRD 1 A/B
 Senior year you will enroll in
CCS/SBWE and take an
abbreviated schedule to work
for credits
Students will:
 Create a vision of

interests, aptitudes,
and abilities
 Gain a competitive
edge by mastering
the skills of success:
learning, thinking,
and communicating
 Allows student to
take an abbreviated
work schedule in
their senior year
