All students are required to pass the ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION prior to enrolling in upper level (30004000) engineering courses.
(1) Technical and design electives must be chosen from the following courses with approval from advisor. (EECE
3330, 3420, 3430, 4010, 4020, 4100, 4150, 4320, 4350, 4410, 4600.
(2) Social Science and Humanities Electives must be chosen from an approved list of general education courses.
(3) The student must file an application and take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination in the same semester
ENGR
4201 is taken. The student must provide evidence that he/she has filed the application to take the FE examination before
filing
for graduation. Students must take ENGR 4201 EIT/FE Review Laboratory course and pass it with satisfactory grade.
They
are encouraged to take the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination with the consent of the department head.
(4) This elective must be approved by the department head.
