 Maymester is part of Summer term
 Allows the completion of one semester’s
work in approximately three weeks
 A wide variety of classes usually offered
at LD and UD levels
 Classes vary in subjects and times
offered during the Maymester period.
Academic Success

Must be a current full-time student for Spring 2016
 Must have a minimum cumulative G.P.A of 2.5
 Course must be part of your major curriculum
 No application is required
 Register for the Maymester course beginning April 4
 Scholarship automatically added to qualifying students’ accounts
Academic Success
 Scholarship covers tuition only
 Student is responsible for books
 Student is responsible for housing
 Scholarship for 2016 Maymester is only good for
2016 Maymester; it is not transferable
 Scholarship courses must be part of your degree
curriculum plan
 If a student decides not to take the course, it is the
student’s responsibility to withdraw from the course
by the first day of class.
 Successful completion of an XSB OR Maymester
course could earn a scholarship for one Sunsational
Summer course at TSU.

Students who are not eligible for the
Maymester scholarship can register for a
Maymester course
 Student is responsible for all tuition,
books, and housing costs
 Maymester dates are May 9 – 27;
Maymester is part of Summer semester
 If a student decides not to take the course,
it is the student’s responsibility to withdraw
from the course by the first day of class.

1. To initiate a search for classes, click
on the Banner Services tab to access the
Main Menu.
2. From the Main Menu, click on the
Student link to access the Student
Menu.
3. From the Student Menu, click on the
Registration link
to
access
the
Registration menu.
4. From the Registration Menu, click
on the Look Up Classes link to access
Term/Date Range form.
5. Choose the appropriate term from
the drop-down menu and click
Submit to access the Look Up classes
form.

A Housing Application for MAYmester must be completed!
 MAYmester housing applications will be available beginning April 4.
 You can apply via myTSU.
 $100 housing deposit is required.
 MAYmester students will reside in Boyd Hall.
 MAYmester students must complete an application even if you are
completing a housing application for fall2016/spring 2017 as a
returning student.
 MAYmester Housing Application deadline is May 1.
