We have finished our
vocabulary for the year.
Reading Workshop
The students will be reviewing +9,
+10, and the remaining combinations.
They will also review subtracting from
100. we will focus on the strategy of
subtracting in parts.
The children will be learning about
folk tales and tall tales this week.
We will study lessons, morals and
themes that are presented in the
text. Study will conclude this unit
by sharing tall tales, fairytales and
folktales with other classes at
MBE.
Writing Workshop
Students will begin writing their very
own fractured fairytale. We will begin

by completing a graphic organizer.
This work will be followed by a draft May 10—MB Showcase
and then a final published edition with
