This database includes a total of 21,669 physicians, approximately 69 percent of whom have Minnesota business location. • Additional demographic data are from the 2013 MDH Physician Workforce Survey. This survey is administered to all physicians who are renewing their licenses in the state of Minnesota. In 2013, the overall response rate was 51.5 percent, which represented 10,809 Minnesota-licensed physicians.
