The SGA helps to create an environment where you WANT to be When you have an idea on how to improve the school, the SGA helps get that idea to the right people to help make your idea come alive The SGA organizes opportunities to have fun in and out of school, get SSL hours with your friends, and to make a difference in your school and community How can I become involved? Beginning in the next few weeks, you will hear more information about how you can become a Homeroom Representative, or the VOICE of your assigned homeroom. Each homeroom will elect two people to represent them in SGA meetings after school and with administration These positions have the potential to become President, Vice President, and Secretary of the SGA Remember: CHANGE can only start with YOU STUDENT AMBASSADORS (7th and 8th grade) Mrs. Alston and Dr. Wallace High school choice! Preparing for high school and beyond – 8th GRADE The DCC will hold evening Options Fair meetings in the fall. The Options Fairs will focus on information about the high school Choice process and the five DCC high schools and their Academy programs. Parents and students will also have the opportunity to learn about application programs available to all Grade 8 students.
