assignments to your teacher by Tuesday, February 16th.

will be posted, and the hyperlinks will be active so you can simply click on the link to access each web page instead of
typing in the web address.
We know that technical difficulties may arise. If so, please make a note next to that assignment on this checklist and we
will try to take care of it at school. You may visit Emmet O’Neal Library for Internet access. Please remember that
websites requiring Flash will not work correctly if accessed from an iPad.

Math Workshop: Play from this list of Math Games for 20 minutes.

Reading Workshop: Log in to Core Clicks using the username and password provided to you by your teacher. Choose
one of the assigned books, and complete the assignments related to that book.
Writing Workshop: Imagine that you were President of the United States. What would you do as President? Write a
one page journal entry on the topic, “If I were President…”
Social Studies


Go to BrainPopJr. Click on Social Studies. Click on Government. Watch the video on the President. (The login
information for BrainPopJr will be provided by your classroom teacher.)
Take the quiz when you are finished watching the video.
Specials Menu
Students may choose from ONE of the following to use as their Specials eDay activity:
 Physical Education: Students can choose to either go on a Family walk/run for 30 minutes or play a pick up
sports game (football, baseball, basketball, soccer, etc.) for 30 minutes or more.
 Spanish: Students may practice useful vocabulary that is located under “vocabulary” on the Spanish website.
Students may also visit the “links” page to listen to music in Spanish, check the weather in Spanish, play
Spanish games, or learn fun facts about Spanish-speaking countries.
 Art: Students can visit the Art webpage and pick any link that they would like to research.
 Music: Students can do an activity that is located on the Music webpage.
