passionate young people interested in helping feed, clothe and fuel the world.
Monsanto is committed to recognizing high achieving minority students pursuing advanced degrees in
agriculture and STEM related fields.The Monsanto Graduate Student Scholarship is part of Monsanto’s broader
focus on innovation and investment in agriculture. Investing in future leaders pursuing STEM careers in food and
agriculture is key to meeting the challenges the world faces in feeding nine billion people by 2050. Monsanto will
award 10 (ten) $25,000 scholarships to selected students pursuing a graduate degree. Apply now!
Requirements:





U.S. citizen or legal resident
Enrolled or admitted in a Master of Science degree program with an emphasis in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Math at an accredited college or university in the U.S.
In good standing, demonstrating academic excellence
Minimum 3.0 GPA
PhD candidates not eligible to apply
When applying for the scholarship, applicants are required to submit the following:

College transcript
Three letters of reference
Personal statement (300-word maximum) describing professional and career goals relating to the reasons
for his/her desire to enter a profession in a STEM field
