NWA Local Agency Membership Dues Paid by State Agency
The MN State WIC staff value the information and resources provided by and the efforts of
NWA on behalf of WIC programs and WIC participants across the county. To support YOUR
access to these resources and information, the State WIC Program has paid for each Local
Agency in Minnesota to be a member of the association.
NWA hosts many educational & networking opportunities:
• Annual Leadership Conference in Washington DC: a forum in which to discuss Federal
initiatives affecting WIC; to learn about funding, advocacy, and meet with key
policymakers.
• 2016 NWA Annual Education & Training Conference May 22 – 25, 2016 in Cincinnati, OH
• 2016 Biennial Nutrition & Breastfeeding Conference September 8 -10, 2016 in Denver, CO
• Leadership Academy for developing leadership skills in new & current WIC leaders
• Webinars
NWA provides information & resources:
