Kindergarten News
On February 12th, kindergarten
classes will celebrate Valentine’s
Day in the room from 2:20 to 3:10.
Please send your child to school
with a valentine for each student
in her class. Your child may sign
his name to each one, but please
do not write the names of the
other students. This facilitates
delivery. Please contact your
room parents if you have any questions about the parties.
In science we have been busy with
our new critters. We are studying
the life cycle of a mealworm. We
eagerly await their transformation as they change from larvae
to pupae to adult beetle.
You will soon receive information about Somerset’s Reading Night scheduled for March
2nd from 6:30 to 8:00. Some
activities to expect:
*a camp out in the media center
*guest readers in the first
grade classrooms
*craft projects in the APR
