Kindergarten News
Happy New Year!!! We hope
everyone had a healthy and happy
winter break.
Please make sure your student
comes to school prepared for outside play. Unless it’s raining,
snowing, or uncomfortably cold, we
go out for snack and recess. The
students really need that opportunity to run around and get some
fresh air, but they need coats,
gloves, and hats. Label everything! Stop by the school lost-and
-found—it’s overflowing.
Thank you for notifying us
and/or the office when your child
is going to be absent. Due to
MCPS policy, you will still receive
an automated call.
A reminder that our school
day starts at 9:00 (first bell
is at 8:50). The whole class
is disrupted by tardy arrivals,
so it is important that your student arrive on time to participate in his or her classroom
routine. If you arrive after
9:00, please stop by the office
for a tardy slip, and allow your
child to come downstairs to the
classroom independently. Thank
you for your cooperation in this
matter.
