October
Kindergarten
News
As the weather gets cooler,
please make sure your student is
dressed for the temperature. A
sweater or jacket (and soon a coat)
are necessary for your child’s comfort because we continue with outdoor recess even as the weather gets
colder. Also remember to send your
student with appropriate footwear
on PE days.
The office sent (via the green
folders) a parent/child reunification
form that they need completed and
returned. Please send in your forms
as soon as possible.
When kindergarten students arrive in the morning, they are allowed
to play in the fenced area until the
whistle at 8:55, or they may line up
on the blacktop and wait for their
class.
Remember to label all items with
your child’s first and last name.
The school’s Lost-and-Found is
starting to grow.
At Back-to-School Night parents
were given the opportunity to sign
up for a conference on our early
release days Nov. 11 & 12. If you
did not sign up for a time, please
contact your child’s teacher.
As more students opt to purchase a school lunch, please make
sure your child knows his or her
lunch number. A first time buyer
has help getting through the line,
but then the students go through
on their own. If you want your
child to pick a particular entrée or
side dish, please discuss this at
home.
