Math Writing During March, students have been using Cuisenaire Rods®, pattern blocks, number lines, fractions strips and fraction circles to identify equivalent fractions and compare fractions. During the last week of the marking period, they will again work with multiplication and division fluency including multiplying 1-digit numbers by multiples of 10 and using place value strategies and the associative property. We have continued to practice our multiplication and division facts, so please make sure to review them with your child at home. We will have periodic graded fluency checks throughout the month.
