Teacher Instructions
1. In each class you teach, give each student a copy of
sheet 2.
2. Cut out one set of the 20 team pictures on sheet 3 for
each class that you teach and either fold them up or
put them in a ‘hat’ so that they cannot be seen.
3. All students in each class to draw one team.
4. Each student to write the name of their team on their
Index Numbers League sheet.
5. Each time their team plays, they record the team’s
score. The score achieved in Pool Game 1 becomes
100.
6. For each subsequent game, they calculate their
team’s score as an index compared to Pool Game 1
